Cottage gourd birdhouse decorated with a lovely garden incl wisteria cascading from the roofline, flowers around the home, loving sheltie dog waiting at the door while his kitten pal lounges on the swing. Our handpainted gourd birdhouse measuring 10 1/2" tall (not including stem) x 7" wide across bottom with a
  1 1/8" opening will be a delight for your smaller outdoor friends, some chickadees, wrens, and nuthatches. Many feel a perch should be included but birds that use gourds w/o perches are safer from other species ousting their young out of the nest. 3 coats of acrylic ext sealer has been applied but best to bring under a patio or porch during inclement weather for longevity.
